A unique opportunity for educators who have a passion for nutrition, school gardens, agriculture, and/or farm animals is coming to the most urban of areas in California.
Use your Ag Ed Assistance Funds to sponsor local educators to attend one of the two Agriculture in the Classroom Conferences:
Both of the one-day conferences will include hands-on activities, site tours, guest speakers, workshops, and farmer panels. Conference attendees will gain a personal awareness and understanding of California agriculture and learn directly from leading industry experts.
This conference series will empower attendees to return to their classrooms and school communities confident and capable of sharing the importance of agriculture and how it touches our lives everyday. Educators will learn new and innovative ways to get their students excited about agriculture by using lessons and activities that aligned to state standards in multiple subject areas.
Registration is $50 and includes meals, registration materials, and many resources!
Visit www.learnaboutag.org/conference for more information and to register.
